ERP Technical Consultant – Infor M3 (m/f/d)
The MMM begins with you: Bring your technical expertise to the table, drive the evolution of our ERP systems and make sure our processes run smarter, faster and better every day.
Your tasks include:
- Technical consultancy and support for internal departments relating to the ERP system Infor M3
- Analysis, evaluation and continuous optimization of existing system and business processes
- Configuration, customization and further development of standard solutions within Infor M3
- Participation in system upgrades, rollouts and technical implementations
- Conducting testing and quality assurance, particularly in the context of customizations and in-house developments
- Translating technical requirements into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholders
- Management and further development of interfaces and adjacent systems
- Support at second-line level for complex queries relating to the ERP system
- Structured documentation of solutions, processes and technical configurations
What you bring with you:
- A completed qualification in IT, such as a degree or apprenticeship in Computer Science, IT Systems, or a comparable technical discipline
- A strong technical aptitude and willingness to independently work through complex ERP topics
- Solid hands-on experience in an ERP environment, ideally with several years of experience in Infor M3
- Experience working with ERP-adjacent systems, such as interfaces, output/document management, or reporting and integration solutions
- A basic understanding of OpenText StreamServe and/or Exstream, including the underlying concepts
- The ability to communicate technical matters clearly, concisely and in an audience-appropriate way
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented working style
- Some experience in ERP projects or ERP operations is advantageous, but not essential
- A collaborative approach, self-initiative and a strong sense of responsibility
- Knowledge of German is a plus
